Not overly steep, but the angle is unrelentingly up from the start.

A trail hike from Kennicott Alaska to the ruins of the Bonanza Mine. This is pretty much an all day hike unless you're in great shape and can hump hard up a good incline for several hours. Things start out a bit boring as the first hour or is an ATV trail flanked by brush. But then suddenly things open up and the views are awesome. When you get to the building ruins keep going up to the crest of the ridge for awesome views of the entire surrounding area of mountains and glaciers. You can continue along the top of the ridge though at some point it starts to get pretty scrambly.
